This Privacy Policy explains how Icon.House (“we”, “our”, or “the service”) handles information when you use our website and related features. Icon.House is an independent App Store icon catalog for design reference.

By using the service, you acknowledge this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Icon.House.

Depending on how you use the service, we may process the following categories of information:

• Account & sign-in. If you sign in (for example with Google via Firebase Authentication), we receive identifiers such as your account ID, email address, and basic profile details provided by the authentication provider.
• Profile. Information you choose to add to your Icon.House profile, such as username, display name, and avatar image.
• Collections, favorites & shares. Apps you save, collection order, and data related to shared collection links (including likes or visitor display names you or others choose to provide on a share page).
• Portfolio & submissions. Information and files you submit when claiming apps or uploading icons for review, including related App Store metadata you provide.
• Usage & analytics. Approximate usage data such as pages viewed, session identifiers, and high-level presence signals (for example path, without query strings) to understand how the catalog is used and to keep the service reliable.
• Cookies & local storage. We use browser storage for preferences and session needs—such as theme, authentication state, analytics session IDs, and client-side collection state—so the site can remember settings and work correctly across visits.
• Technical data. Standard server and security logs may include IP address, request timing, and similar diagnostics when needed to operate, secure, or debug the service.

We use the information above to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the catalog and account features
• Authenticate users and protect accounts and the service
• Store and display profiles, collections, shares, and submissions
• Review portfolio or icon submissions
• Measure usage and diagnose performance or abuse issues
• Enforce our Terms of Use and applicable policies

We do not sell your personal information.

We rely on infrastructure and platform providers to run Icon.House. These may include hosting, databases, file storage, authentication (such as Firebase / Google sign-in), and analytics services. Those providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and security practices, limited to what is needed to deliver the service.

We may share information when required to operate the features you use (for example, content you make public on a profile or shared collection), with service providers as described above, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or investigate abuse. We do not share your information for third-party advertising networks.

We retain account, profile, collection, and submission data for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the service. Analytics and technical logs are kept for a limited period consistent with operating and securing the service. You may request deletion of account-related data by closing features you control or by using in-product account controls where available.

• You can browse much of the catalog without creating an account.
• You can update or remove profile details you control when signed in.
• You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser; some features may stop working until you sign in or set preferences again.
• You may be able to limit analytics through browser or device settings, depending on your environment.

Icon.House is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, stop using the account associated with that information.

The service may be hosted or processed in locations that differ from where you live. By using Icon.House, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in those locations.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.

App icons, names, and trademarks shown in the catalog belong to their respective owners. Icon.House does not claim ownership of those materials and is not responsible for third-party apps or App Store listings.
