Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Icon.House (the “service”), an independent catalog of App Store icons for design reference. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Icon.House.

Our Privacy Policy describes how information is handled and is part of how the service works alongside these Terms.

Icon.House provides browsing, search, and related tools around App Store icon imagery, colors, archives, collections, profiles, and optional submissions. Features may change, be limited, or be discontinued at any time.

The service is provided for informational and design-reference purposes. It is not an official Apple product and is not a store, marketplace, or app-distribution platform.

App icons, app names, logos, and trademarks displayed on Icon.House belong to their respective owners. Icon.House does not claim ownership of those materials.

Icon.House is an independent catalog and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc. “App Store” and related marks are trademarks of their respective owners. References to apps or platforms are for identification only.

You may not use Icon.House content in a way that suggests sponsorship or endorsement by Apple or any app publisher, or that infringes third-party rights.

Some features require an account (for example via Google sign-in). You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access credentials secure. Provide accurate information and do not impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with apps or companies.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe harm the service or other users.

If you create a profile, collection, share link, portfolio claim, or icon submission, you are responsible for that content. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit it and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.

By submitting content to Icon.House, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and process that content as needed to operate and improve the service (including moderation and public display where the feature is public). You retain ownership of your own contributions to the extent you own them.

We may reject, edit, hide, or remove submissions or other user content at our discretion, including for quality, safety, or rights concerns.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, bulk-download, or abuse the service in a way that degrades it
• Attempt to bypass security, rate limits, or access controls
• Upload malware or harmful content
• Use the service to infringe intellectual property or privacy rights
• Misuse shared collections, profiles, or submissions to harass or deceive
• Reverse engineer or interfere with the service except where applicable law allows

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the catalog is complete, current, or error-free, or that icon imagery perfectly matches App Store originals at all times.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Icon.House and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim (if any) or (b) zero if the service is provided free of charge.

You agree to defend and hold harmless Icon.House and its operators from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms or third-party rights.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Icon.House regarding the service, and supersede prior agreements on the same subject. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms are governed by generally applicable principles of law without selecting a specific jurisdiction; where a court or authority must apply local mandatory rules, those rules still apply to the extent required.

The service is operated under the name Icon.House. Features and availability may vary by region and over time.
